RV college of engineering(RVCE)

RV College of Engineering was established in 1963. It is a private engineering college and it is situated in Bangalore(Karnataka). It has 11 departments in Engineering, one college for architecture and one department of MCA(Master Of Computer Application). RVCE is affiliated to the AICTE and all the department of RVCE are accredited by the NBA(National Board Of Accreditation). The annual festival of RV College of Engineering called 8th mile. RV College of Engineering participates in several activities such as ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation) and SAE(Society of Automotive Engineering).

Facilities​

RV College of Engineering is spread over 52 acres hectare(51.4 Acres) and located at Kengeri (Mysore Highway Road) Bangalore. The nearest railway station. In the canteen, both foods are available North Indian, South Indian and also Chinese. The college also has health care center.

Hostel​

RV College of Engineering has 5 hotels blocks. Therefore,3 hostel blocks occupied by the students and 2 are under construction for coming terms. The first block of the hostel is occupied by first-year students and the name of this block is called Diamond Jubilee Hostel. for second-year students and the third year students, hostel block is named as New Cauvery Block. The Sir M.Visvesvaraya block for final year students.RV college of engineering run by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samiti Trust(RSST).RSST runs over 25 educational institutions including Engineering, Dental and Nursing colleges in Bangalore.

College Industry Collaboration​

The college has collaboration with universities in India, Germany, United States, Korea, and Singapore. The college has combine programs with many institutions including South Korea, University Of Wisconsin, West Virginia University, Lamar University, Konyang University all in the USA, Aachen University and the University Of Muenster in Germany. University of Sydney, France the college also collaborated with Mangalore University and Kuvempa University, Shimoga.

Companies visited the college for campus placements are Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Accenture, Caterpillar, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Sasken.

Admission

Students must be passed in 12th with science stream and must qualify in KCET(Karnataka Common Entrance Test) or the COMEDK Test. Students can also get admission through a management quota. Because its important if any students not qualify in comedk thank he can take admission through management quota.
